Your rod may lack the 'Twitching' action rating, your reel speed is mismatched, or your pauses between Right Mouse Clicks are too long.
What reel speed should I use for Jigging?
Speed 25 to 35 on standard 6000/8000 reels. Make 1 to 2 rotations, pause 2 seconds, and wait for bottom contact.
